How fast is the process of establishing or buying a ready-made company?
• The commercial register of the Republic of Estonia will make a note on the establishment of a new company or change of the owners and members of the management board of a ready-made company within 5 working days from the date of the relevant notarial procedure. If we carry out notarial procedure of establishment or purchase and sale of a ready-made company by power of attorney, we make it within 5 working days from the moment we receive a set of powers of attorney and payment.

Is it possible to open a bank account in the name of an Estonian company without personal presence (remotely, by attorney)?
• No, it is not possible. In most cases, for opening of a bank account in an Estonian bank, it is essential for a member of the management board of the company to be present at the representative office of the credit institution in order to verify identity and meet the requirements of AML/KYC. Some banks offer the possibility to submit an initial application and identify the person using the e-resident card, i.e. a personal visit is necessary only in case of a positive decision of opening an account by the bank

Is it possible to open a bank account in the name of an Estonian company outside Estonia?
• Yes, it is possible. The legislation of the Republic of Estonia does not impose any restrictions on the opening of bank accounts in foreign countries by Estonian companies. If you are interested in such a possibility, please contact the specialists of our office.

Do I need to submit accounting reports? How often it should be done?
• The obligation to keep accounting records includes the need to submit annual reports (annual balance sheet) to the Estonian Commercial register, as well as, if the company is a VAT payer, monthly reports to the Tax and Customs Board on turnover tax (KMD-declaration) and income tax (TSD-declaration).

How much does it cost to establish a new or buy a ready-made company in Estonia? What services are included in the price?
• The cost of a full package for the establishment of a new or purchase of a ready-made company is EUR 900. This price includes all possible costs related with this procedure, namely, the payment of state fees and notary fees, the service of the legal address and contact person for one year, as well as the drawing of the constituent documentation of the company and the procedure itself on the basis of powers of attorney without the personal presence of the client.

How can you pay for the services of our law office?
